Question 1

What is MarketYourIndie?

Accepted Answer

MarketYourIndie (also written Market Your Indie) is an all-in-one platform that helps indie game developers handle the business side of a Steam launch: marketing, finance and legal. It brings wishlist tracking, revenue projections, pricing, a press and creator CRM, a showcase calendar and a legal document generator into one dashboard.

Question 2

How do I market my indie game?

Accepted Answer

Start by getting your Steam page live early to collect wishlists, then build a steady content cadence (devlogs and short clips), target the right Steam fest for your genre, ship a demo, and line up press and creators before launch. MarketYourIndie turns each of those steps into a tracked plan with the numbers behind it, so you always know what to do next.

Question 3

How do I get more Steam wishlists before launch?

Accepted Answer

Wishlists compound, so the earlier your page is live the better. Post consistently in the communities where your players already are, lead every clip with your strongest moment, and use a demo plus a Steam Next Fest as your biggest spike. MarketYourIndie tracks your wishlist velocity against your goal and tells you whether you are on track.

Question 4

How should I price my indie game on Steam?

Accepted Answer

Price from your content length and your genre, then sanity check against comparable games and regional purchasing power. MarketYourIndie suggests a price from your playtime and shows competitor prices, regional pricing and the revenue impact of each option so the decision is grounded in data instead of guesswork.

Question 5

Who is MarketYourIndie for?

Accepted Answer

It is built for solo and small-team indie game developers launching on Steam who have a great game but no marketing team, financial model or legal department behind them. No marketing experience is required.

Question 6

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can try MarketYourIndie free, with no credit card required, and you only pay more as you add more games.
